Sofie is HealthAdvocateX’s social media and administrative assistant. She started working at HealthAdvocateX as a maternity cover for the operations manager. When maternity ended, her role shifted to social media. Sofie also works for Greater National Advocates as well as the Coalition of Health Care Advocacy Organizations (CHCAO) as an administrative assistant and with tech, organization, and outreach projects. Sofie is passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of others in whatever way she can. Before joining the nonprofit sector, Sofie graduated from Lawrence University with a degree in Government and a focus in Environmental Studies. Sofie’s tasks include problem solving, communicating with different teams, and working with leaders to support the profession of independent patient and health care advocacy.
